Church is going to look a little different, and that's ok!

Dear Bayside Life Church Family,

You have been faithful to come to us for as long as we’ve been a church. Beginning this weekend, we are coming to you!!! That’s right. We are going from onsite to online. With the announcement from Governor Newsom requesting no meetings larger than 250 people, we are moving our Sunday service online starting this weekend. We will be broadcasting at our regular service time. Please know this decision was not a decision made from fear. We are doing this out of an abundance of caution and love for you and our community.

God is up to something. So, join us this weekend and watch our service together as a family and invite others to join you online. The best part of this? You get to have Church in your PJs, or you could all get dressed up and have Fancy Church at Home, it’s up to you! Sunday at 10 A.M. We will be broadcasting our service on YouTube as well as Facebook. These will be pre-recorded services streamed as if they are live. We are inviting you to join us in the comments and chat for discussion and fellowship during the sermon. If only there was an “Amen” emoji!

In order to be ready to watch with us, you’ll need to visit either our Facebook page or our Youtube Channel. Make sure you “Like” our Facebook page, or Subscribe to the YouTube Channel. We will also be making the recorded sermon available on our website, as well as in the Bayside Life Church app immediately after the broadcast in case you miss it. (Please note the audio Livestream will be temporarily unavailable)

We’ll see you on Sunday in the comments!

We are a Life Giving Church

In what seems like very scary times, we want you to know that God is working, moving, and preparing. Christian community exists for more than a weekly meeting to sing songs and hear a good sermon. We exist as a community to “do life together,” in these difficult times doing life together will look different. We’re calling on our Church to view life together with a deeper understanding that it’s more than just “being in the same place, doing the same thing”. Doing life together is about more than a Sunday gathering, it’s about being a place for others to lean on, or having a place to lean if you need it. We’re all in this together, so we’re announcing a few things that we will start this weekend.

  1. If you need assistance please let us know using this form. It is also available in the Bayside Life Church App, additionally you can email us at info@baysidelifechurch.com. If you need someone to shop for you because you’re immunocompromised, older than 65 and staying indoors. Or you just need something that you’re unable to get. We will do our absolute best to meet your needs.
  2. If you have availability to help shop for others or have resources you would like to offer to our community, please fill out this form. It is also available in the Bayside Life Church App, Additionally you can email us at info@baysidelifechurch.com.
  3. While we are encouraging you to participate in our online services as a family, throughout the week we will be posting some links to great resources and activities for your Kids. Make sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter to keep updated.

Giving During a Pandemic

We know that many members of Bayside Life Church prefer giving in person via a check or cash. We understand that, and if you would like some giving envelopes sent to you, please fill out this form. Checks and cash giving can be mailed to this address:

Bayside Life Church
PO Box 277375
Sacramento, CA 95827

We also encourage you to use this as a great time to set up online giving. It’s easy, quick, and can be done through the Bayside Life Church App or through our website.

In times of financial hardship, often one of the first expenses to be cut is our tithe, we encourage you to continue giving through this difficult time. The resources you give, help us do two very important things beyond just keeping the lights on.
  1. They help us provide resources to those who need it most.
  2. They help us as a Church fulfill the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20. Our Sunday gatherings, both online and on-site, are designed to be welcoming to those that haven’t come to Know God experience him for the first time. Then through our programs, we want to help people Find Freedom, and during that process of doing life together, they can Discover Their Purpose, and join us in Making a Difference.

We’ll See You Online!

We are so excited to see where God is leading our church as we navigate the temporary transition from on-site to online. Our hope is that we will continue to be a place for you to find your Christian community. Please connect with us on our social media platforms and download our app if you haven’t already.

We look forward to seeing you in the comment section of our Sunday broadcast!
